9月25日，廣西河池市都安縣法院對47歲的都安人袁某雷作出判決（announced the verdict）。
判決書顯示，2020年5月12日，袁某雷強行與15歲女孩藍某發生關係。經鑑定，藍某患有輕度精神發育遲滯（suffering from mental retardation），被性侵害時缺乏自我防衞能力（lacked the ability to defend herself）。
許多網友認為，該案被告人具有性侵輕度精神發育遲滯的未成年少女、明知自己患艾滋病（definitely knew of his contagious disease）仍實施強姦（conduct the act of rape）等惡劣情節，“結果才判5年，明顯太輕了（the current punishment was too light）。”
當地有關部門表示，袁某雷自動投案，如實供述罪行（confessed to his crime），並自願接受處罰（volunteered to receive the penalty）。
河池市中級人民法院已對此案展開司法審查（judicial review），並表示將很快公佈審查結果。
